Wireless Network Engineer

Profile:
The Wireless Network Engineer provides support in networking, wireless networking and server configurations.  The role provides senior level support for the installation, upgrades, configuration changes and monitoring or wireless network, Juniper Network Operating Systems, NOC, VoIP, NAS devices, Network Security devices and Router ACL’s.  This role will act as a SME for the troubleshooting or network issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation, maintenance, support, trouble resolution, root cause analysis and SLA maintenance for a large, enterprise wide LAN/WLAN/WAN environment with a focus on Wireless LAN
  • Daily SLA compliance and routine break-fix duties
  • Architecture design and guidance for the Wireless LAN using a DAS
  • Develop and manage small to large projects to enhance and expand the network, including cost analysis, detailed design, project planning, implementation, detailed documentation and cross-training of peers
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and team building skills
  • Routinely interact directly with customers
  • Participate in team environment
  • Diagnose difficult network performance problems
  • Interact with application support teams to diagnose network, application performance issues.
  • This position operates in a 7x24x365 SLA driven environment, requiring rotating on-call duty, flexible hours

Requirements:

  • Experienced in the pre-configuration and shipment of Bank closing kits system in Wireless Networking
  • Experienced in remote support for closing site installation and activation
  • Experience in on-call support
  • Knowledgeable in coordination or removal of systems and services once activity is completed and receiving and preparing of kits for the next closing deployment
  • Knowledgeable in tracking hardware and services management; network service requests and installation coordination with FDIC and local service providers
  • Knowledgeable in MS Windows Operating System, Juniper Network Operating System, NAS devices, VoIP, Network Security, Wireless Networking and XML
